The Rings
The rings are cast from moulds made from the original that was used for the Doctor's rings. They are cast in AgAIN sterling silver, which has been recycled from NHS x-rays.
The 18ct gold on each ring is 100% recycled, and is soldered on by hand before being individually carved. I hand-finish every ring, to ensure it's as close to the original as possible, and feels great to wear.
They are oxidised (chemically made dirty). The rings are then given polished edges and gold, with the silver having the paritally oxidised, matte finish. The oxidised finish will polish up over time, but remain in recesses. Please see here for care notes.
As every individual ring is hand-finished, no two will be exactly alike, but as I make each one as close to the original as possible!
