The first in the series of Sign rings;  beaten and hammere  silver, then I've added 9ct gold a 'scar' and in the same gold set a blood-red recycled garnet. 
 
I've oxidised the silver, and scrubbed it back to contrast with the polished gold.
 
Garnet is January's birthstone and constantly in my top 3 of favourite stones!
